The Story of ULTRA MAGNUS TRANSFORMERS — the almost-leader, the loyal soldier, and the guy who maybe should’ve been more. In the 1986 movie, Hasbro made Rodimus Prime the chosen one, but what if they got it wrong? From toy origins as a "powered convoy", to his moments in the cartoon and comics where he shined, stumbled and just couldnt seem to beat Galvatron, I'm digging into why Ultra Magnus always seems to be second best — and whether he deserved better. Equal parts nostalgia, speculation, toy history, and a little bit of “he just couldn’t deal with that right now.”
