The story of Transformers Wreck-Gar and the Junkions is one of trash, television, and maybe a little too much weirdness for some fans to handle. In the 1986 Transformers: The Movie, we meet the Junkions and their one of a kinf leader, Wreck-Gar — a planet of TV-obsessed, motorcycle-riding bots who speak entirely in commercials and pop culture references. But were these bizarre scavengers just comic relief thrown into the movie, or were they secretly Hasbro’s most clever commentary on how easily media can shape and brainwash a society?
